Vivien Greenock interior design

I started my career as a junior in Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler’s Ebury Street showroom but was quickly promoted to Tom Parr’s assistant and became the youngest partner in the firm.  After 15 years working closely with him, I was asked to head my own team and eventually became Senior Director.

After 27 years at Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, I left to establish my own business.

My ethos has always been to listen to the client, understand their style and help them create the beautiful, liveable homes they want, whether traditional, contemporary or downright quirky!  I believe that the best residential decorating is creating an interior that appears  “undecorated” – a layering process, mixing various materials and objects until it looks like the client has put everything together themselves and that I had never been there.  However if the interior requires it, I have the expertise to create the grandest of grand design.  I love watching clients’ design confidence grow and am always ready with more sophisticated and imaginative suggestions.

I have a small, highly efficient and professional team behind me, taking pride in executing the projects on time and in budget.  We use only the highest quality contractors.  We can undertake everything from building a house from scratch to decorating dog beds.  Our work has taken us to all the continents of the world, decorating houses, flats, ski chalets, hotels, offices and galleries.

The projects I undertake are widely varied in both size and style but the success of my business is my natural ability to adapt my talents to suit an international clientele in both traditional and contemporary styles.

Vivien is the single most efficient person I have ever come across. She is also brilliant at weaving her own ideas into a client's taste – giving you what you think you want – steering you towards what she knows will work. Speak to any of her clients and they will all say the same.
